We started Elm & Cedar in 2021, shortly after getting married in the most beautiful intimate wedding by the lake in the coldest of winter. Because of the pandemic, we had to have a tiny wedding which was so special but also had its own challenges. Having to put together our wedding largely by ourselves, working on everything starting from the decor, florals, to food, and everything in between was a challenge to our creativity and we ended up LOVING the process!
Sadly, many of our friends and family could not be there in-person but the thoughtful and special gifts and keepsakes that we received (many of which were handmade) made the day so incredibly special. Knowing how special our wedding and its prep was for us, we decided to start creating keepsakes and mementos for others that would bring joy and capture special moments in time just like ours did for us...and the rest is history!
Since then, our little gift shop has evolved to offer gifts for many occasions including engagements, weddings, anniversaries, housewarming, new baby arrivals, pet memorials, Christmas, and more! We also offer cozy and unique home decor pieces, numerous collections, stationary, and more!
